- We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and shoes to attend our dance workshops.
- Some stalls will be selling products, so we suggest you bring a payment card with you if you would like to make purchases.
- Lunch is included in the price of the ticket. We suggest you bring a water bottle that you can fill up throughout the day at our water stations.

- We will also have a quiet chill-out room you can access if you are experiencing sensory overload and need to step away from the crowd.
- If you need an adult to accompany you in order to access the Festival, we are happy to accommodate it. Please let us know to discuss further.
- We will ask you to give us any details about your access requirements in the booking form and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Are you are a teacher or a group leader of a youth group or organisation and you plan to bring a group of girls to the Festival?
You can book directly on our eventbrite page to get 20% discount per ticket. Contact us if you have questions before booking.
Parents/accompanying adults are not allowed in the Festival, apart from specific circumstances (e.g. for accessibility purposes).
The AWA DANCE team is formed all by women and are all trained in safeguarding and DBS checked.
You are welcome to stay in the public areas of the Midlands Arts Centre.

We are looking for volunteers based in Birmingham to help us on the day of the Festival.
We will provide you with free safeguarding training level 2 before the event. You must have an enhanced DBS check to be able to apply.
