AWA DANCE provides a number of placement opportunities each year to partnered educational institutions in the UK. Placements are tailored to each student and can vary in length and role. These placements offer students the opportunity to experience how social impact and arts organisations operate and provide skill development in numerous areas. EQUITY TOOLKIT FOR WOMEN

Equity is the trade union for artists in the UK

Equity’s toolkit brings together resources for women in the creative industries. While many of these issues affect all Equity members, women continue to be disproportionately affected by sexual harassment, low pay, caring responsibilities and ageing out of the profession. It offers a very valuable support. We encourage you to read it and share it!
